Damper is provided as a free public beta for converting solo-piano recordings into editable MIDI.

Permitted use

You may upload only audio that you own or are authorized to process. You remain responsible for the recording, the downloaded MIDI and how you use it.

Automatic transcription

The result is generated automatically. Damper aims to reconstruct notes, timing, velocity and sustain-pedal data, but a transcription may contain errors and may require editing.

Availability

The beta may be changed, limited or unavailable without notice. Upload limits exist to keep the shared service usable.

Storage

Uploaded audio, intermediate files and downloadable MIDI are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. You should download and back up any result you want to keep.

Payments

The current beta does not charge users. Commercial terms will be published before account or payment features are activated.
